Quality Assurance

Equipped with state-of-the-art failure analysis tools and semiconductor backend manu-facturing experience accumulated through the years, we command one of the best quality management systems in the field. ASE's quality assurance team works closely with our customers and process engineering teams to identify and assure quality and reliability parameters. This practice aims to achieve the lowest defect probability for all of our products.

Quality is deeply embedded in ASE's culture. We strive through each and every aspect of our operations to meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

ASE Quality Certificates

ASE launched Quality Circles programs in 1980 and Motorola's Quality Systems Require-ments were adopted in 1984. In 1992, ASE was certified ISO 9002 compliant. QC Circles were actively in progress and Total Control Methodology was introduced. In 1997, SAC Level 2 Certification was attained, followed by ISO 14000. In the year 2000, ASE earned the prestigious SAC Level 1 Certification.

Despite the wide recognition of our quality assurance activities, we will not rest but continue to push for other Quality Systems certification such as TL 9000 to provide our customers greater confidence in our quality commitment and create a zero-defect quality workplace for our employees.
