ASE introduces the "Smart Recycling Machine" for sorting and reducing plastic waste

Since 2023, ASE Social Enterprise has partnered with ECOCO to promote the "Smart Recycling Machine." This machine uses optical recognition technology to efficiently sort plastics, aluminum cans, and PP cups, and features a discount redemption system to incentivize participation in plastic reduction and recycling efforts. Following the introduction of the "Smart Recycling Machine" at ASE Kaohsiung facilities, over 20,000 employees have actively engaged in plastic reduction actions, resulting in the recycling of 110,000 bottles to date. In addition to its own facilities, ASE has collaborated with ECOCO to introduce this model to university campuses, retail chains, and corporate partners, fostering a collective effort to protect the environment.
