Guardians of the Seas

To support UN SDG 14 and address marine environment degradation, we collaborate with community members and volunteers in a year-round coastal cleanup activity as part of our marine environment conservation project. We also encourage ASE employees and diving enthusiasts to join the ASE Environmental Scuba Dive Team and participate in ocean and coastal clean-up activities to protect marine life and preserve biodiversity.

Partnering with Startups for Green Energy and Carbon Reduction

The champion of ASEH's third Sustainable Innovation Competition, Guangtai Green Energy, introduced a micro-hydropower technology that can be applied to our water recycling facilities. We are also working with previous winners on circular packaging solutions, launching a recycling initiative in Kaohsiung that has successfully recycled over 960,000 bottles and 1,760 kg of batteries. This initiative fosters community involvement in recycling and supports low-carbon lifestyles, underscoring our commitment to sustainability.

Adoption of IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards

In response to the global shift toward mandatory sustainability reporting, ASEH has established a cross-functional task force, led by its CFO and CSO, to align our practices with IFRS Standards. The company has integrated existing Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) frameworks and enhanced the internal control systems to ensure the credibility of sustainability disclosure. Starting in 2027, we will incorporate sustainability-related financial information in our annual report, further enhancing transparency and investor confidence.
