USI Demonstrates Support for the Preservation of Cát Bà Island’s Biodiversity and the Transition of Aquaculture Farmers

In line with its plans to transform Cát Bà Island into a national and international eco-travel center, the Haiphong City Government of Vietnam has stepped up efforts to remove the aquaculture farms around the waters of Cát Bà Island. USI responds to the city government’s call that encourages businesses, factories, organizations, and individuals to lend support to the national policy by purchasing aquatic products from the affected fish farms to mitigate their financial impact. USI Vietnam is demonstrating full support of the government’s efforts and the preservation of Cát Bà Island’s biodiversity, by committing to a year’s procurement from the fish farms since September.
