ASE Leads Students Towards a Green Future at 2025 Sustainability Exploration Camp
ASE Holdings and the Chang Yao-Hung Ying Social Welfare & Charity Foundation (Chang Mama Foundation), partnered with Ming Chuan University, the Mustard Seed Mission, and the Taiwan Fund for Children and Families, proudly hosted the "2025 ASE Nurturing Nature Camp: Exploration into Sustainability through a New Lens” from August 11 to 15, 2025. The camp aims to promote equal access to education and inspire sustainable values in elementary school students.
This year’s program uniquely combined tennis with sustainability education offering free high-quality summer courses designed to broaden children’s understanding of environmental protection, sustainability, and self-expression – empowering them to envision a green future.

The camp’s curriculum combined creative design, ecological sustainability, and environmental resource utilization and English learning, featuring activities such as "Recycled Tennis Ball Redesign", "Water Resource Exploration", "Digital Drawing and Installation Art", "Sustainability Museum and Pottery Practice Visit”. These hands-on experiences were designed to spark students' curiosity, nurture their practical skills and inspire a deeper understanding of sustainability, innovation and language learning.
Throughout the five-day camp, students also participated in a beach cleanup at Shalun Beach and visited the Tamsui Water Recycling Center and the Taoyuan Sustainable Resources Center to further their understanding of water resources and environmental education. One of the camp’s highlights was the final presentation showcase, where students shared their projects, enhancing both the presentation skills and self-confidence.
Beyond academic knowledge, the program also focused on building resilience – a value championed by founder Chang Yao-Hung Ying, who encouraged students to “be courageous, never admit defeat, never be discouraged, and never fear hardship."
Through the ASE Sustainability Exploration Camp, ASE Holdings and its partners aim to provide a transformative learning environment where children can explore, grow and become the next generation of green guardians.
