Guardians of the Seas
To support UN SDG 14 and address marine environment degradation, we collaborate with community members and volunteers in a year-round coastal cleanup activity as part of our marine environment conservation project. We also encourage ASE employees and diving enthusiasts to join the ASE Environmental Scuba Dive Team and participate in ocean and coastal clean-up activities to protect marine life and preserve biodiversity.

ASEH is dedicated to biodiversity conservation, aligning with UN goals SDG14 and SDG15. Adopting the TNFD-LEAP approach, they assess biodiversity risks in Taiwan with plans for global expansion. Their subsidiary, SPIL, proactively complies with regulations, restores nearby parklands with native vegetation, and engages the community, setting a benchmark for ecological restoration.

ASE Kaohsiung is a leader, using 4IR tech for a 67% output increase and 39% lead time reduction, joining the WEF Global Lighthouse Network in 2023. ASEH prioritizes sustainable smart manufacturing amidst industry challenges.

They are committed to achieving Net Zero by 2050, implementing carbon pricing, and rolling out five strategic action plans across their subsidiaries. Collaborating closely with value chain partners and customers, they prioritize procuring renewable energy.

Sustainable Impact of Smart Factories
ASEH began investing in automated, lights-out factories in 2015 with the goal of driving digital transformation and building customer trust through three key areas: automation, heterogeneous machine integration, and heterogeneous system integration. In 2022, its Kaohsiung bumping facility joined the World Economic Forum's Global Lighthouse Network, marking another major milestone.
