Reduce GHG emissions & provide green manufacturing services:
* IC manufacturing and OSAT (outsourced semiconductor assembly and test) companies provide intermediate products and services that are not directly consumed by end-users. The use and disposal of the final products is also typically not related to our business operations. These are the factors highlighted by the SEMI SCC taskforce in their ‘Scope 3 Category 11 GHG Assessment’ report together with a recommendation that category 11 can be reasonably excluded for semiconductor manufacturing companies. In 2024, we recorded an 8% decrease in our Scope 3 emissions (excluding Categories 11 and 12).
